Renuka Desai, also known as Renu Desai, recently found herself the target of online trolling by fans of her ex-husband, Telugu star and Deputy Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, Pawan Kalyan. The controversy arose when a fan commented on one of her Instagram posts, suggesting that she should have been more patient in her marriage to Pawan Kalyan, describing him as “someone like a god.”
Renu Desai responded to the comment, clarifying that it was Pawan Kalyan who ended their marriage and remarried. She expressed her pain over such comments, urging people to refrain from making statements that are false and hurtful.
The fan’s comment, originally in Telugu, was reported by M9 News. It read, “You should have been more patient, sister-in-law. You misunderstood someone like a god. Perhaps now you realize his worth. But I’m glad the kids are with Pawan Kalyan.”
In response, Renu wrote, “If you had an ounce of intelligence, you wouldn’t make such a foolish comment. He was the one who left me and remarried, not the other way around. Please refrain from such comments; they only torment me.”

Following this exchange, Renu Desai deleted the comments and disabled the comment sections on her posts to avoid further distress.
Renu Desai and Pawan Kalyan were married for three years before their separation in 2012. They have two children, a son named Akira and a daughter named Aadhya. Akira has been actively supporting his father’s political endeavors, while Aadhya recently joined her father in meeting Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Despite their separation, Pawan Kalyan has moved on, having married twice more, with his current wife being Anna Lezhneva. Renu Desai, on the other hand, chose not to remarry after their divorce, although she did get engaged a few years ago.
This is not the first time Renuka has been subjected to such online hate by Pawan Kalyan fans. Over the years, she has even received death threats from Pawan Kalyan fans when she revealed she is set to remarry someone else.
