Monitor development & welfare projects regularly: Adityanath to elected public representatives | Lucknow News

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Sunday appealed to all MPs, MLAs, and other elected public representatives to regularly monitor development and welfare projects, emphasising that they should ensure that eligible individuals in their areas benefit from government welfare schemes.

The CM said this while addressing public representatives from the Gorakhpur division on Sunday, a press release said.

Adityanath congratulated the newly elected MPs and commended the efforts of MLAs who worked diligently during the Lok Sabha elections. He encouraged them to propose new development initiatives to add to the progress of the state. The CM also received updates from all the MLAs present there on the progress of ongoing development and welfare projects in their areas.

He highlighted the importance of ensuring that eligible persons who have not yet benefited from any government scheme are identified and connected to the initiatives of both the Central and the state government. The CM underscored the responsibility of elected representatives to attentively address public issues. Public satisfaction is the true measure of a representative’s work and they must maintain the trust of people, he added.

Yogi also discussed the assembly-wise performance of the party in the recently concluded elections.
