The No. 6 Marshall University men’s soccer team (6-1-2) took down the Robert Morris Colonials (3-6-1), 3-1, on Tuesday night at Hoops Family Field in Huntington, West Virginia.
“I got a little frustrated there at the end. We didn’t really grab the game,” Herd men’s soccer head coach Chris Grassie said after the match. “We didn’t press well enough and we didn’t control it end-to-end. We had some big chances, but I’d rather have more control.”
Junior Adam Aoumaich fired the first shot on goal of the contest in the 22nd minute, but the shot was saved by RMU goalkeeper Friedrich Petrelli.
